1. I believe that God will deliver His faithful ones. (I also personally believe not everyone will be ready and that some will be left behind to be perfected in the tribulation.)
2. The tribulation is God’s wrath. I also believe it is what Jesus referred to as the hour of testing that will come upon the whole world in the letter to the church at Philadelphia.
3. The Galilean wedding custom, and how many of the things Jesus said that line up with it. https://givinghimtheglory.com/2021/08/25/the-galilean-wedding/
4. The timing of Jesus coming with all His saints doesn’t make sense to me in the post tribulation rapture scenario. We get taken up and immediately come back down with Him?
5. There are angels who proclaim the gospel to the entire world, the news that Babylon has fallen, and warn the inhabitants of the earth about the consequences of worshipping the beast and receiving his mark in Revelation 14. The gospel has only ever been preached by humans.
6. Small children, toddlers, who know nothing of the rapture are telling their parents about the rapture after having dreams of it. The internet is filled with videos. Additionally, people of all ages also have dreams of the rapture.
It’s alright if you don’t agree with me. If you don’t and you feel you must comment, please at least be respectful and courteous as becomes a saint of God.
Below I have also provided scripture (all in NASB) that I believe supports my hope.
Isaiah 26:20-21
20 Come, my people, enter your rooms
And close your doors behind you;
Hide for a little while
Until indignation runs its course.
21 For behold, the LORD is about to come out from His place
To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their wrongdoing;
And the earth will reveal her bloodshed
And will no longer cover her slain.
Revelation 3:7-13
7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:
He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says this:
8 ‘I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have followed My word, and have not denied My name. 9 Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and make them know that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept My word of perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of the testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test (those who live on the earth. 11 I am coming quickly; hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12 The one who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name. 13 The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
Luke 21:36
36 But stay alert at all times, praying that you will have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.
1 Thessalonians 5:9-10
9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him.
Genesis 5:24
24 Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.
2 Kings 2:11
11 And as they were walking along and talking, behold, a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and they separated the two of them. Then Elijah went up by a whirlwind to heaven.
2 Peter 2:4-10
4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, held for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example of what is coming for the ungodly; 7 and if He rescued righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the perverted conduct of unscrupulous people 8 (for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day by their lawless deeds), 9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from a trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt passion, and despise authority.
Reckless, self-centered, they speak abusively of angelic majesties without trembling,
Matthew 25:1-13
1 Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom. 2 Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. 3 For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take extra oil with them; 4 but the prudent ones took oil in flasks with their lamps. 5 Now while the groom was delaying, they all became drowsy and began to sleep. 6 But at midnight there finally was a shout: ‘Behold, the groom! Come out to meet him.’ 7 Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps. 8 But the foolish virgins said to the prudent ones, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’ 9 However, the prudent ones answered, ‘No, there most certainly would not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the merchants and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the groom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. 11 Yet later, the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’ 12 But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 Be on the alert then, because you do not know the day nor the hour.
