Do You Know What Jesus Suffered?

For those of you who object to God because of suffering in this world, do you really know what Jesus suffered and endured?
He was persecuted. He was hated. He was rejected. He was mocked. He was betrayed by one of His disciples. When He was arrested, His other disciples deserted Him and ran.
He was falsely testified against. He was unjustly condemned to death. He was slapped and punched, and they pulled His beard out of His face.
He was scourged (whipped). His injuries were so severe most people would have died before the beating was even done. His appearance was mangled and marred so badly He was unrecognizable.
Then they beat a crown of thorns into His head while they mocked Him and spit on Him.
He was so weak He could barely stand, suffering from shock, and they made Him try to carry His cross which would weigh about the same as a refrigerator.
Then they stripped Him of His clothes, nailed Him to the cross at His wrists and feet. They lifted Him up to hang there for hours. He had to lift Himself up with His arms and feet just to breathe, while His lungs and abdomen were filling with fluid. His muscles in His shoulders were being torn from it. The nails were grating against His bone, and causing nerve damage. He was dehydrated, and his blood was running down the cross. That cross wasn’t smooth either. It was jagged and was poking into His raw skin and His exposed spine.
Emotionally, His heart was broken. Because of our sins being put on Him, He was also cut off from the Father.
He knew the whole time He was on earth this was going to happen. And He also endured temptation as well.
Jesus’ death was brutal, barbaric, agonizing, and painful. He endured literal torture for hours.
The point is, even God suffered. The fact that death even exists at all is because of sin. But the reason that Jesus suffered is so we could spend eternity with Him in the next life after this one is done.
I can’t make you believe. You have to choose. But sometimes it helps to actually know the details.
Thank you Jesus! 🙏
