Have You Found What You’re Looking For?

Are you struggling to find joy?

Are you lacking peace?

Are you searching for something to fill a void, but you can’t find it?

Are you searching for the truth?

Have you been so hurt by people and the things that have happened to you in life that you feel like you will always be damaged?

Do you want purpose, but seem to be unable to find it?

Are you scared of dying and are uncertain and afraid about what happens afterward?

Are you frustrated by the world, and how it seems darker every day?

Do you sense that something is horribly wrong with the world, but can’t seem to figure it out?

Do you need hope?

Do you need deliverance from addictions and can’t break the chains?

Do you feel lost and lacking direction?

Do you want a fresh start in life, a clean slate?

Do you feel weighed down and heavy?

Are you physically, emotionally, and spiritually tired?

Do you need comfort?

Do you need forgiveness?

Do you need love?

Do you feel dead inside?

Do you feel alone?

Do you want to change?

My own personal answer to almost all of these questions was yes, and I found the solution; I found the answer, and the answer is a person: Jesus Christ.

Jesus changed everything for me. He radically changed and transformed my heart, my mind, and my life. Jesus set me free. Jesus has brought me hope. Jesus has given me peace, even though I still struggle with anxiety. Jesus has given me purpose. Jesus has given me joy. Jesus has taken away my fear of death. Jesus has healed deep emotional scars. Jesus has given me forgiveness. Jesus has given me rest. Jesus has filled the void the world and the the things of this world couldn’t fill. Jesus has given me grace. Jesus has given me a future. Jesus has brought me from death to life, and He has given me life more abundantly. Jesus has given me contentment. Jesus has given me the honor and privilege of knowing Him personally, and having a relationship with Him, which is the greatest blessing and gift you can receive. Jesus has given me the love and acceptance I wanted all of my life. Because of Jesus, I know I will never truly be alone again.

John 6:35

35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; the one who comes to Me will not be hungry, and the one who believes in Me will never be thirsty.

Matthew 11:28-30

28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is comfortable, and My burden is light.”

John 3:16-21

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. 18 The one who believes in Him is not judged; the one who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, so that his deeds will not be exposed. 21 But the one who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds will be revealed as having been performed in God.”

John 14:6

6 Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

1 Now I make known to you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand, 2 by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.

3 For I handed down to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
