Even though we can't physically see God with our physical eyes, He isn't hiding. Even though Jesus was taken up to heaven after His resurrection, it doesn't mean that you can't find Him.
You absolutely can find Him, and Jesus WANTS to be found by you. Every single moment of every single day He is reaching out to you. The evidence of Him is everywhere, even looking back at you when you look in the mirror. But, you can only find Him when you start looking with spiritual eyes, with all of your heart.
Jesus paid the price of the debt you couldn't afford to pay. You may not want to admit it, but you have a terminal condition called sin that will kill you.; maybe not in this life, but it will kill you in the world to come. Jesus' death on the cross for your sin is the only cure, and the only way to have life.
You CAN have life more abundantly while you're here and you can have eternal life when you pass on from this one. You can have peace that surpasses understanding. You can have joy, even in sorrow. You can have purpose. You can have contentment. You can have satisfaction. All of it is possible when you turn away from sin and call upon Jesus to be your Savior.
There is nothing in this world that is sweeter than having a deep, personal, intimate relationship with Jesus, where His Spirit is living in you. True peace only comes from being aligned with God and His ways. You'll never find it in the world.
Jeremiah 29:13-14
13 And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will let Myself be found by you,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.’
Matthew 11:28-30
28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. 30 For My yoke is comfortable, and My burden is light.”
John 6:35
35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; the one who comes to Me will not be hungry, and the one who believes in Me will never be thirsty.
John 10:9-10
9 I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly.
John 14:6
6 Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.
