WARNING: To Those Who Are Trusting in Riches And NOT In God - By Justin Adkinson

February 6, 2023 WARNING: To Those Who Are Trusting in Riches And NOT In God

Job 31: 24-25,28 "IF I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, Thou art my confidence,"

"IF I REJOICED BECAUSE MY WEALTH WAS GREAT, and because mine hand had gotten much;”

“This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judge:…”

God will punish these who trust in their money and wealth in this world. Those who love the world will go to the pit or will have to die in the great tribulation, after the rapture, to prove their love and trust in Jesus. That's why I am prompted by the Holy Spirit to warn now before the great tribulation, to get the church ready for Jesus when the trumpet of God sounds. I do not want money or wealth to keep me or anyone else I know and love down here on earth. I want to go to Jesus when he calls up his bride.

Palm 52:7 "Lo, this is the man that made NOT God his strength; BUT TRUSTED IN THE ABUNDANCE OF HIS RICHES, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.”

Proverbs 11:28 “HE THAT TRUSTETH IN HIS RICHES SHALL FALL: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.”

In the Great Tribulation there will be those who put their trust in riches and those who put their trust in man. Do not be deceived! You must know the word of God for yourselves and allow the Holy Spirit to change your heart before it’s too late! Trust in the Lord Jesus today instead of in the money you think is yours. God has provided all we have. It was not by our own wisdom or strength that we were able to get a job or make money. We must recognize who has provided for us because of the promises in his word. We must not be arrogant thinking we got what we have by our own means. Those who don’t give God the glory for ALL things will find out the hard way how PRIDE will never enter heaven. GOD WILL NOT BE MOCKED!

Proverbs 18:11 "THE RICH MAN’S WEALTH IS HIS STRONG CITY, and as a high wall in his own conceit"

Mark 10:24" And the disciples were astonished at his words, But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, HOW HARD IS IT FOR THEM THAT TRUST IN RICHES TO ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD!"

Luke 12:19" And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much good laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.”

This is exactly what we say when we trust in our wealth and are living for our selfish desires in this life. We go on vacations, travel, purchase what we want, constantly seeking out pleasure in relaxing, and love this world all while calling it good when we should know that this world is at enmity with God. Those who have money will not enter heaven if they continue in this lukewarm, lover of pleasure lifestyle. Those things are not bad in themselves, but they are when we don’t put God first. The idols we make are put before God because we don’t ask God in our prayer closet if we should go on that trip, or expensive vacation, or even buying a new car. We tell ourselves that because we made the money ourselves, and worked for it, so now we DESERVE IT. God is not on our mind when we want to do something. Trusting in your wealth to get you through each day, and to the next vacation, is going against God’s word. By doing this it shows him who you have put your trust in and where your heart is. Look at what Jesus said.

“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” Mark‬ ‭10‬:‭25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Life in the church today is all about the next pleasure we can seek out in our planning and NOT about God’s will for our lives. That is why those with wealth will not make it into heaven IF they continue down the wide road, trusting in their money, or job, and loving this world.

“But God said unto him, THOU FOOL, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?” Luke‬ ‭12‬:‭20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

No one is promised tomorrow, but the prideful and arrogant plan as if they are promised tomorrow and so they seek out more pleasures this world offers them. The lie from satan tells them that you can love this world, and plan to use your wealth for your next pleasure because you deserve it. This world tells us that it’s all about what we “deserve”, and we hear this lie from the pit constantly today. The world tells us to “follow your heart” or “follow your dreams” but God tells us to SURRENDER ALL. He also tells us that the heart is wicked above ALL things. So why would anyone want to follow their heart? They do this because of the antichrist spirit within them which is in rebellion against God and his word.

There are many who profess to trust in Jesus but they instead have put their trust in man. God tells us that those who trust in man are CURSED. Those that think they are promised tomorrow, and put their money where their heart is, start their planning for their next great thing. They are considered a “fool” in God’s eyes. This night their soul may be required of them and where would they go if they loved this world and ignored God’s word? This world is wicked, and will be burned with fire, and not water as God did in Noah’s day. God’s righteous judgment is coming! Many will be left behind when the trumpet sounds because they love this world, and have put their trust in man and in their wealth.

God’s word is clear that in the the last days there would be mockers and scoffers at the truth. There will be lovers of pleasure, more than lovers of God and his truth. They will be lovers of self and prideful about the life they live and the things they do. Money and man are now what most professing christians trust with their heart. Their actions or fruit shows what their heart loves and it’s not God. Their prayer closet, if they even have one, is empty. God’s word tells us that they have left their first love and are now attempting to serve two masters. The truth that no one wants to hear is that you can’t serve two masters. You can’t love this world and Jesus. Professing Christians today say they love Jesus but their heart is far from him. They have a form of godliness but lack the power of the Holy Spirit. They have grieved him by pursuing this world and the pleasures they can get from it. By ignoring the Holy Spirit’s conviction, promptings, and unctions to live a holy life, most have grieved him that their heart can no longer hear his still small voice.

This is a warning you will either hate, and grieve the Holy Spirit by hardening your heart, or you will hear the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and repent for loving this world and trusting in riches. There is no more time to be lukewarm. You cannot love this world anymore. Come back to your first love. Separate yourself from this world. Forsake all and follow Jesus before it’s too late. Those that do not forsake all are not worthy of Jesus.

“He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.” Matthew‬ ‭10‬:‭37‬-‭38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus was warning us all that if we don’t forsake all and follow him, we won’t be worthy of him. If we fear what our loved ones and friends think about us when speaking the truth from God’s word, then we are not worthy of Jesus. Many compromised their faith and cast aside the truth to make family and friends and coworkers happy instead of trusting in God’s truth. Many professing Christians did not stand for the truth and instead feared man rather than God because they walked by sight and not by faith. All of the answers are in the word of God. This world and it’s wickedness is exactly what God’s word says it will be like in the last days. If only more professing Christian’s would humble themselves and their heart before the Lord to hear what he is saying to his church today.

We also need to be working out our salvation with fear and trembling instead of loving this world and all the pleasures in it.

1 Timothy 6:17 “Charge them that are rich in this world, that they BE NOT HIGHMINDED, NOR TRUST IN UNCERTAIN RICHES, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;” 1 Timothy‬ ‭6‬:‭17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I will trust in God and NOT in my job or money or mankind! Come to Jesus today. He is the only hope for your soul. No technology or advancement that wicked mankind makes will prolong your life or get you to heaven. Don’t fall for the lies of Satan. He is deceiving so many today. Jesus is waiting in line for you to fully surrender to him. He will forgive you of your sins and heal your brokenness that this sin filled world has caused. Don’t follow me. Follow Jesus. He loves you more than you may realize. Even those who once knew him who now love this world and believe false doctrines of devils. There is no time left! Put your trust in Jesus and in God’s word before it’s too late.

“Thus saith the LORD; CURSED BE THE MAN THAT TRUSTETH IN MAN, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.” Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬
