The Holy Spirit is such an amazing and beautiful gift and blessing. By Him we are sealed until the day of redemption. He is the Spirit of Truth, and the Comforter. He helps us to have understanding of God's word and discernment as we live our lives. It is through the power of the Holy Spirit that we receive our spiritual gifts. He is a teacher and a guide who can be and is always to be trusted because He is from God and of God. To me, He is a friend, a partner, a trusted companion, an ally, a comforter, a guide, a helper, a teacher, a leader, a disciplinarian, completely indispensable, precious, valued, appreciated, and treasured.
Here's just a few things the bible says about the Holy Spirit.
John 14:16-17 KJV
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
John 14:26 KJV
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Acts 2:4 KJV
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
1 Corinthians 2:12-14 KJV
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 12:3 KJV
3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
Ephesians 1:13-14 KJV
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
