Put On The Armor Of God

About a month after I was saved last year I had a dream (so this would have been the end of October 2021). In my dream I saw a man. I couldn't see his whole face because it was partly in shadows, and he was wearing a long dark robe with a hood on it, having the hood up over his head. Darkness also seemed to completely enshroud him. He was standing a short distance away from me, and I knew that he couldn't touch me or get to me. He was very visibly angry about it. He was sneering at me with a look of utter contempt and hatred as he stared at me. He said nothing as he stared at me, and he stood there for quite awhile. After awhile the man turned and walked away, and after he was gone I woke up from the dream.

(In the movie, Cell, with John Cusack, there is a scene where they are in a house, I think in the room of the main character's son, and on the wall there is a drawing of a figure in a red hooded robe. It looked exactly like what I had seen, except for the fact that the robe of the man I saw was more like a dark charcoal grey color.)

I came away from that dream with the feeling that I may have seen Satan himself. Whether I did see him or not, I don't truly know.

The armor of God is so vital. Every day we are fighting a spiritual battle against forces we cannot see. I had to pray for the armor of God over myself today because my mind has been under attack for the past couple of weeks. I praise Jesus because my mind is more calm, I'm more at peace, and I don't feel like He's far away from me anymore like I had been feeling.

Never give up. Satan wants you to give up. He knows he is damned and he wants to take you with him.

Ephesians 6:11-13 KJV 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
