Now is a good time to make sure you have extra stores of food and water on hand as inflation is rising and driving up the price of everything. I also believe we are headed towards having food shortages in the VERY near future.
It’s also not a bad idea to start learning to grow your own vegetables. Even if you don’t have much for a yard, you can still grow food in containers, and you can maximize that space by using the companion planting technique. For example, you can grow corn and cucumbers together. Just make sure to research before you plant, because not all plants like each other.
You can also use storage totes with a lid, some pvc pipe, some 360 degree micro irrigation sprayer heads, net cups, and a pump to make some inexpensive, yet very effective aeroponic growing stations with some liquid nutrients to grow plants more quickly and efficiently. Here’s a video that shows you how to make one, and the video description also includes a parts list: https://youtu.be/_ewOsgoGQL4
Not sure what vegetables are the best to plant? You can find survival seed vaults on Amazon, such as this one here: https://www.amazon.com/Heirloom-Vegetable-Survival-Emergency-Seed/dp/B01770182Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=survival+seeds&qid=1627263768&sprefix=survival+see&sr=8-3
I love you all. Please stay safe out there.
