My Life Is Also God's Story

My life isn't simply my story. It's also God's story.

My life is the story of how God created me. It's the story of how He healed me when I was born without my hips being fully developed, and how He strengthened me so that I was walking at 8 months old. And of how God has healed me from many other illnesses and injuries throughout my life.

My life is the story of how God has always protected me, and always provided everything I've ever needed to live.

My life is the story of how God has intervened to deliver me from danger and death from various situations.

My life is the story of how God has held me in the refiner's fire in order to turn out all things for my good and to demonstrate His power, ability, and glory.

My life is the story of how I was a horribly self-righteous sinner with a huge beam in my eye, and how God extended His hand to me.

My life is the story of how God is good, kind, compassionate, loving, patient and long suffering, faithful, gracious, forgiving, and merciful.

My life is the story of how God is always reaching, always calling, and always pleading with a person to come home.

My life is the story of how God has taken people out of my life that are not good for me, and brought others into my life who are good for me.

My life is the story of how God sometimes closes doors and blocks paths, in order to open new doors and create new paths. And it's the story of how God guides each one of us.

My life is the story of how God loves me, how He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins, to bear the wrath of God that I deserve in my place, to change my fate and save me from the judgment of hell that I deserve, to obtain my full pardon, to win my victory, and to make me an overcomer.

My life is the story of how much God wants me, and of how much He wants you, and my life is the testimony of how He deserves all the honor, glory, and praise.
