I always felt uncomfortable in churches. I always felt uncomfortable and angry whenever someone used to talk to me about God and Jesus. I felt like people were trying to force religion down my throat. I never wanted to hear about sin, or hell. I thought I was a good person. I used to be angry with God for all of the struggles I had to endure both in my childhood and in my adult life.
I WAS VERY WRONG.
I have learned that Jesus is my best friend and biggest advocate. I have learned how very deeply He cares for me. I have learned that there is a very big difference between the love and worship of Jesus Christ and the Almighty Father and organized religion. I have learned how beautiful it is to give your heart to Jesus, and how beautiful it is to surrender to Him; to let Him take control. I have learned that Jesus is the piece of me that I never knew was missing. I have learned that every hardship I have been through was both for a purpose and for His glory, for He has healed my heart and put it back together again. I have learned that Jesus and the Almighty Father are so merciful. I have learned that all things work out for good for those who love Jesus and the Father.
I have felt Him reach his hand into my heart and remove the last bit of unforgiveness I was still holding onto. I have felt His presence on several occasions. I am constantly filled and surrounded with His love that I can feel. I feel complete and unexplainable peace. I no longer feel afraid. I have heard Him speak to me. I have had dreams. I have felt something be written on my forehead two nights in a row. I have felt the almost constant presence of Holy Spirit fire burning in my heart, and at its strongest, in my chest too. And recently I have felt awesome, overwhelming, and incredible power during one of my prayers. Jesus proves himself to me over and over, day after day. I'm completely in awe of Him, and I love Him so deeply.
The love of Jesus heals you. It fills you. It lifts you up. It sustains you. It comforts you. It satisfies you. It consoles you. It changes you. It restores you. It leads you. It makes you want to do better. It makes you want to be better. It makes you want to please Him. It makes you want to turn your back to sin. And the love of Jesus SAVES you.
If you are reading this message, I want you to know that Jesus LOVES you. Jesus wants to save you the way that He has saved me and countless others. He wants to have a relationship with you. He paid the price for you by dying a horrible death on the cross; He shed His blood so that your sins may be forgiven. We are all sinners, and we all fall short in God's eyes. But if you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, repent of your sins, and let Him into your heart, your sins will be forgiven and you will be saved. Please don't wait, for Jesus is returning soon.
John 3:16-18 KJV
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Romans 10:9 KJV
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Romans 6:23 KJV
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Acts 2:21 KJV
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
