Is Christ In You - By Andrew Chase

::::::::::::::::::Is Christ in you?:::::::::::::::

We may try ignore this, but I wonder why.

Is Jesus inside of you? Is He living His life through you? Is there any part of you that is blocking Him? There may be. Gods conviction may have shown it you. How? The scripture, or that persons words that anger you that idiot you hate. or a dream. Only you & God know.

If you repent, ahhh the beauty that awaits you!

“But when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called by His grace, to reveal His Son in me…..I did not rush to consult with flesh and blood, not did I go up to Jerusalem to the apostles” (He didn’t check with a downtown Rochester Church, or a guy with a street t-shirt club, or anyone else).

Don’t you need to be & remain a part of them? “Remain in me (Jesus), and I will remain “in you (In -In - In) you.

“But we don’t approve of that person who upset us with Scripture.”

- But when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called by His grace, to reveal His Son in me.” Gal 1:15-16

- We might think this verse should read, “It pleased God…to reveal His Son to me.” But in Greek, the original language of the New Testament, the word is “in”, so the verse reads “to reveal His Son “in” me.”

Only Repentant members can say:

“I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me” Gal 2:20.

- Here, Paul did not say, “I live in a Christ-like way,” or, “I glorify Christ through my behavior.” No, he said, “Christ…lives in me,” clearly showing us that Christ lives in His believers. Because He lives in us, the Christian life is not a matter of trying to behave like Christ, but of even more better it is allowing Him to live in and through us.

Paul asks the Corinthian believers a question: “Or do you not realize about yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you?” 2nd Cor 13:5

-Jesus Christ is living in our spirit. But from there, He wants to spread into the rest of our inward being, that is, into our heart. Our heart includes our mind, emotion, will, decisions and conscience. The Lord doesn’t want to just visit our heart, like a guest in a hotel. Instead He wants our heart to be His home (“That Christ may make His home in your hearts”. Eph 3:17) where He has the freedom to live and move & change the world. If you allow this then you will suffer with Him and carry your own cross. You will be rejected, which is a sign you are like Christ.

Galatians 1:15-16 says — “His Son in me”. Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home “with” him.” Jn 14:23

- - I need more proof!

Colossians 1:27—“Christ “in” you”

“To whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ “in” you, the hope of glory.”

- This verse shows us not only that “Christ is in us”, but that He’s in us as our hope of glory. When we believed in Him, Christ came to live in our spirit. Now He’s moving into our heart to make it His home & to live His life through us.

Second Thessalonians 1:10—“Glorified “in” His saints”

“When He comes to be glorified “in” His saints and to be marveled at “in” all those who have believed.”

— Ya know Jesus asked for this!

“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me *through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be “in us”, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, “I in them and you in me”, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.” John 17:20-23

- Well, if I’m repenting & being available to Jesus, how can I be sure that He is in me?

John 14:19-20 says;

“Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and “you in me”, and “I in you.”

1 John 4:15:

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides “in him”, and he “in” God.

— Jesus can you repeat some of this again?

“I in them” and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.” John 17:23

..”You are from God and have overcome them, for he who is “in you” is greater than he who is in the world.” 1st John 4:4

- Can you say that your life, your words & your actions are not you, but are Jesus?

Is there any part of you that is good enough to live and does not need to be surrendered to Christ so that it is only Jesus living through you?

Are you joyfully serving & suffering for Him?

Can you say -

"I and the Father are one" (John 10:30); or "I do always the things that are pleasing to Him" (John 8:29); or "The works that I do in My Father's name" (John 10:25).

Do you have the perfect consciousness & the sense of perfect oneness with Jesus Christ?

Why is this so strange to you?

Is not this oneness with Jesus supposed to be our new life?

Do you see the evidence of the scriptures above? Is Gods Word still not true?
