August 14, 2022 Encouragement For The Bride Of Christ
Today I fell after battling against the enemy of God for a few days. I repented before the Lord, but sometimes I have a hard time forgiving myself. I asked the Lord if I was truly forgiven and cleansed from all of my sins, including today. I told him that he always speaks to me through his word, but before I opened my Bible, he spoke to me. The Holy Spirit wants me to share this, because he told me that everyone goes through the same trials, and some need to hear what the Lord has to say.
The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said “You are forgiven. Get up and keep moving forward. Your unrighteousness has been washed away. You will still be used by the Lord, even though you fell.” Every single time I fall, he is right there to pick me up. But I must come to him with a humble and contrite heart. I must confess my sins to him, and HE is faithful to forgive. Even if I think I have done too much, or I am beyond forgiveness. His love, and mercy, and grace is abundant! His forgiveness is overwhelming and never ending, because he doesn’t want anyone to perish. The enemy of God wants us to think we are too far gone, and can’t possibly be forgiven…again! He is a LIAR! The father of lies! “GET UP!” That’s what the Holy Spirit said to me! “You are forgiven!” “Keep moving forward!” Stand up and be used by the Lord! I am a watchman, and the enemy hates that I am being used as one! I warn all who have ears to hear and some are waking up to the warnings. That’s why the enemy is attacking me and all who share the truth. So stand boldly for Jesus in these last days and he will help you make it to the end.
The Holy Spirit spoke those words loud and clear. But then I said to the Lord, because I heard the Holy Spirit LOUD AND CLEAR, I am doubting it was him. I usually hear this still small voice whenever I am seeking the Lord, and he speaks to me. So I asked the Lord to do what he always does with me. I asked him to guide my hand, and to open my bible right to scripture that will confirm what I just heard so loud and clear. I just want to make sure that what I heard was from the Holy Spirit, and not just my own thoughts. I love asking the Lord for specific answers because he seems to always give me them when I ask with a humble heart.
So I went to my newer bible, where I don’t have any bookmarks, and the print is much larger than my usual morning bible. In the morning I use my grandpa’s 1920’s KJV, which I absolutely love. This new bible is completely different. Everything is very unfamiliar to me on where things are located. So, after praying for the Holy Spirit to guide me, I then go to open my bible. Once it is opened, the Holy Spirit then tells me to look on the left side, right where my left hand is holding the page. I instantly see this verse!
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 KJV
I am always in shock at how specific the Lord answers my prayers. It doesn’t matter how many times he does this for me. This time was o different. All I could say was THANK YOU JESUS! WOW! He always speaks to me so clearly through his word. He answered me very specifically! His word is truly LIVING! The Lord knows that when I sin, I cry out to him because I do not want to sin. I don’t look for opportunities to sin. There are times when I fall, but Jesus is right there waiting to forgive. This is different than when I was living a lukewarm Christian life. I would sin knowing I could ask for forgiveness later. Ever since fully surrendering to the Lord Jesus, and him healing my brokenness, I do not want to hurt him by sinning anymore. But instead, I desire to walk in the light of the Lord Jesus everyday. But, at the same time, the enemy knows how to attack each one of us. He comes at us constantly, especially if we are being used by the Lord to reach others with the truth. He will attack us spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally. But we have Jesus, and his unending love, and forgiveness, to help us get back up and fight the good fight. We must get back up and do our heavenly Father’s will. When Jesus comes for his bride he will be looking for those doing our heavenly Father’s will and those who still have faith. That’s why we are told to pray to be counted worthy to escape all the things coming upon this world.
Be encouraged today bride of Christ. We are in the final moments before the trumpet sounds. The enemy of God knows this, and so he is going to attack each one of us in many different ways, in order to bring us down. But stand back up! Don’t stay down! Stand boldly on the word of God. Jesus is always there by your side to forgive you and help you. Cry out to him with a repentant heart, and he will forgive, and cleanse you.
To those needing healing, or just a special touch from the Holy Spirit. The Lord knows exactly what you need. Just come to him however you can, and with a humble heart. Tell him your need, and then expect him to answer. He will. He loves you more than you may realize at times.
I pray a hedge of protection around the bride of Christ right now. Anyone reading this, I ask the Lord Jesus to cover under the shadow of his wings, and to lift you up as you read this. Lift their heart Jesus, just as you do for me when I am down because of the enemy of God. You are greater than he who is in the world. Thank you for your comforter the Holy Spirit in each one of us. Help your bride to hear his voice speaking to them about everything in these last days. Holy Spirit, come hold them up, and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Make us all ready for that trumpet sound. Encourage their heart Jesus, to stand boldly until the very end, when you come for your bride. Strengthen us all until we are called home to be with you. We know this is not our home, so our eyes are focused on you Jesus. Use each one of us to wake up those we know and love, before it’s too late. I ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Let’s all edify and encourage one another as we all struggle with the same things. The enemy wants us to stop sharing the hope we have in Jesus. The only hope for this evil wicked world is Jesus. He is the only one that can forgive and heal our brokenness. Come to him today and receive eternal life. Jesus is the only way to heaven. God is long suffering and wants none to perish. Soon his long suffering will come to an abrupt end.
There will be no more time to repent. He will forgive you if you ask. Admit you are a sinner. Repent from all your sins. Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and died for your sins and was raised to life after three days. He is alive today waiting with open arms. Come to him. Run to him! No one is promised tomorrow.
