Bride of Christ or Lukewarm - By Susan Davis

We are unapologetically not promoting the lukewarm church on this page. Why? Because JESUS spits them out. But, the lukewarm church is larger than the alternative Bride of CHRIST church. Which denomination you may ask is that? Denominations are created by men. JESUS does not talk about manmade church doctrines--HE talks about two church groups: the lukewarm and the Bride of CHRIST. One has a full oil lamp and the other has a partially full oil lamp (see Matt. 25, 10 Virgins Parable). If you read the seven churches of Revelation 1-3, you will see that the majority of the church body has a variety of views, but only the church of Philadelphia along with some "overcomers" among the other churches are considered worthy to escape. If you read about Philadelphia, you will see that JESUS says they are of little strength meaning they are not of great numbers and they don't dominate the vast numbers of church goers. This lines up with GOD's warning that the road to hell is broad and that the path to heaven is narrow and few find it. The anti-lukewarm stance is not popular, the Bible says it and so the whole promotion of "not being lukewarm" is offensive to "most" who consider themselves to be Christians. They believe themselves okay with GOD because they call JESUS "LORD" and do things like work wonders in HIS name. Even so, they are told to depart from HIM at the exact moment that is key, when they face HIM for the first time in the next life. Many Christians trivialize this warning saying to quit getting in our face about this--but I promise you when someone faces GOD and they missed the boat, it will be something. So wake up now, get off the boat called "lukewarm" and DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO KNOW JESUS--because HIS chief complaint with the lukewarm is that they DO NOT KNOW HIM and they are not in the WILL OF THE FATHER. Surrender to the Will of the FATHER. This is a warning. If you want to maintain a lukewarm faith--you can do it--but it's going to cost you. (see Matthew 7:20-23)
