Are You Abusing God's Grace?

I'm doing a very deep dive study on 1 Corinthians that lasts for 40 weeks. It is heavily reinforcing the belief I have that many people abuse God's grace and don't fully know the truth.

This week's passage is one of such weeks that does this. Read it, and then go back and read each verse with the cross references that correspond to each verse. I didn't put these together by the way; these cross references were in my hard copies of the ESV and NASB1995 version. It's God's word. Not mine. Pay special attention to the cross references in Verses 9 and 11.

Be a Berean. Read it for yourself.

1 Corinthians 6:1-11 NASB

1 Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbor, dare to go to law before the unrighteous and not before the saints? (Matthew 18:17, 1 Corinthians 3:9)

2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If the world is judged by you, are you not competent to form the smallest law courts? (Daniel 7:22, Matthew 19:28, Revelation 20:4, Isaiah 49:8)

3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life? (1 Corinthians 8:9, 1 Corinthians 8:13, 1 Corinthians 9:12)

4 So if you have law courts dealing with matters of this life, do you appoint them as judges who are of no account in the church? (1 Corinthians 5:12, Acts 9:16, 2 Corinthians 4:8-11)

5 I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not among you anyone wise who will be able to decide between his brothers and sisters, (1 Corinthians 15:34, 1 Corinthians 4:14, Acts 16:23, 1 Corinthians 4:11)

6 but brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers? (1 Corinthians 2:4, 1 Thessalonians 1:5)

7 Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather suffer the wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? (Matthew 5:39-40, 1 Corinthians 2:5, 2 Corinthians 10:4)

8 On the contrary, you yourselves do wrong and defraud. And this to your brothers and sisters! (1 Thessalonians 4:6, 1 Corinthians 4:10)

9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, (1 Corinthians 15:50, Galatians 5:21, Ephesians 5:5, 1 Timothy 1:9, Hebrews 12:14, Hebrews 13:4, Revelation 21:8, Revelation 22:15, 2 Corinthians 1:8, 2 Corinthians 1:10, 2 Corinthians 4:11)

10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. (John 16:22, 2 Corinthians 8:9)

11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 12:2, Ephesians 2:2-3, Ephesians 4:22, Ephesians 5:8, Colossians 3:7, Titus 3:3, Acts 22:16, Hebrews 10:22, Titus 3:5, 1 Corinthians 1:2, Romans 8:30, Ezekiel 33:22, Ephesians 6:19)
