This is something the Lord has laid on my heart today, and quite honestly, for a long time. Read these passages, think on them, and pray. Ask God to show you what He wants you to understand from these passages.
IF
IF anyone wants to come after Me…. (meaning Jesus, meaning join Him in heaven).
Luke 9:23-26, Matthew 16:24-25, Mark 8:24-35
IF anyone does not remain in Me… (meaning Jesus)
John 15:1-11
IF God did not spare the natural branches (Israel, leading to partial hardening and salvation being offered to the rest of the world)…
Romans 11:17-24
IF you hold firmly to the word which I have preached to you…..
1 Corinthians 15:1-8
IF after they have escaped the defilements of the world…….(knowing Jesus Christ)
2 Peter 2:20-22
This one doesn’t use the word, IF, but it’s still important
Hebrews 6:4-8
