You can't fool Jesus. Not even for a nanosecond.
God has known you since the creation of this world. He knows your thoughts. He knows your emotions. He knows you better than you know yourself. He knows the intentions hidden deep in your heart that you aren't even aware of.
God is everywhere. He sees everything. Nothing you do can ever be hidden from Him. So why fight Him?
Psalm 139:1-18 NASB
1 LORD You have searched me and known me.
2 You know when I sit down and when I get up;
You understand my thought from far away.
3 You scrutinize my path and my lying down,
And are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before there is a word on my tongue,
Behold, LORD, You know it all.
5 You have encircled me behind and in front,
And placed Your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
It is too high, I cannot comprehend it.
7 Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
8 If I ascend to heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.
9 If I take up the wings of the dawn,
If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,
10 Even there Your hand will lead me,
And Your right hand will take hold of me.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me,
And the light around me will be night,”
12 Even darkness is not dark to You,
And the night is as bright as the day.
Darkness and light are alike to You.
13 For You created my innermost parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully formed in the depths of the earth;
16 Your eyes have seen my formless substance;
And in Your book were written
All the days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.
17 How precious also are Your thoughts for me, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the sand.
When I awake, I am still with You.
One day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Jesus loves you so much, He came down from heaven to suffer the wrath of God and punishment that you deserve so that you can be with Him in heaven for eternity. Why fight Him? Why let yourself be condemned forever to be separated from Him for ETERNITY in hell? He paid your debt so you can be free.
It was only 2 1/2 years ago that He forever changed my life. He was the piece of me I didn't know I was missing. He brought me deep peace that surpasses all human understanding. Don't you want that for yourself? I want it for you!
Will you fall into Jesus' arms and surrender? Will you give Him your life and your heart?
