What are you holding on to? What are you clinging to in this life? Are you willing to let it all go for Jesus? Are you willing to give Him control over it all, even your day? Are you willing to completely surrender and let Him be the Lord and Master of your life? Are you willing to make changes to your lifestyle? Are you willing to lose relationships? Are you willing to lose your own life (maybe not physically but it could be a reality)?
Is it really worth holding on to these things that you're clinging to if it means your chance to go to heaven is lost?
THERE IS NO GIFT OR BLESSING THAT IS GREATER THAN THE HEART KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE OF JESUS. There is nothing more important than a completely surrendered relationship to and with Jesus Christ.
Mark 8:35-37 KJV
35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Luke 14:26-33 KJV
26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
Philippians 3:7-9 KJV
7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
