When people hear something they don’t like hearing or that they don’t want to do, they often will say “God knows my heart.”
Yes. God DOES know your heart. Better than you even know it. And this is what God says of our hearts:
Jeremiah 17:9-10 KJV
9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Mark 7:20-23 KJV
20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
You can’t allow your heart to lead you. You can’t allow your mind to lead you. You have to let the Holy Spirit lead you.
Proverbs 16:25 KJV
25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Do you call Jesus Christ your Lord, Savior, and Master? Then why do you only observe His teachings as you want to and not as He tells you to?
Luke 6:46-49 KJV
46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
