Every day is a milestone Father.
Every day is a testament of Your love, Your kindness, Your generosity, Your patience, Your faithfulness, Your grace, Your mercy, Your glory, Your wisdom, Your power, Your strength, Your might, Your holiness, Your righteousness, Your sovereignty, Your favor, Your blessings and gifts, and Your goodness.
Every day is a gift. Every day is a day of new chances and opportunities. Every day is a day to count the many blessings You have so graciously given me. Every day is a new opportunity to witness and testify of You, and what Your grace has done in me. Every day is a new day to share Your love with others. Every day is a day to worship and praise You. Every day is a day to rejoice, even in the pain and the trials, that I know I will be with you in eternity. Every day is a new day to lead others to Jesus. Every day is a new opportunity to be about Your business. Every day is another chance to walk with You. Every day is another opportunity to study Your word. Every day is another day to glorify You. Every day is another day to revel in how exceedingly, amazingly, unfathomably, and abundantly wonderful You are.
Every day is a testament of how much You have changed me, and how much You have helped me grow. Every day is a testament of how far You have brought me. Every day is a testament of how You forgave me of my sins and granted me mercy.
Every day is filled with expectation, waiting for Your gracious promises that are to come, waiting for Your kingdom to come, waiting for My Savior, my God, and my King to come for me and the rest of His people who long for Him, so that I can finally see Him face to face in all of His glory, and to be changed from mortality to immortality.
Every single day is a day to marvel in Your love, the exhilaration of Your Holy Spirit’s fire burning in my heart, how patient You have been with me, how faithful you have been even when I was not, and how You used illness, anxiety, heartbreak, suffering, dashed hopes and frustrated plans to draw me to You.
As I celebrate my 3rd year of salvation this weekend, I wish to say thank you, Father, for frustrating my plans. Thank you, Father for the times my heart was broken. Thank you, Father, for allowing me to be stricken with my illnesses, infirmities, and anxiety to slow me down and show me the truth of this world, and to draw me to You. Thank You Father, for all that I have endured and suffered in my life. Thank you for allowing it all.
Thank you Father, for a wonderful husband, my family, my home, my cats, and all of the other blessings you have given me. Thank you for all the people you have brought into my life, and for the people you have taken out of it.
Thank you Father, for loving the world so much, that You sent Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins on His cross. For sending Him to bear my sins in His body on that cross. For allowing His broken body, blood, pain, suffering, torture, and life to pay the debt I could not ever afford to pay, and redeem me. Thank You Father for teaching me about Him, and for giving me to Him.
You have dealt so wonderfully and bountifully with me, Father. You have blessed me so greatly and abundantly, and I give You all the glory, honor and praise. I bless Your holy, righteous name, YHWH. Thank you for being the greatest blessing and gift of all. Thank You for Your unspeakable gift of salvation.
Amen. 🙏
